Co-conceived with Associate Director Sophia Maja Hughes, this queer interpretation of Noel Coward's classic play imagines a world with one foot in contemporary queer culture, and the other in the aesthetics of 1940s British high society. This reimagining sees a trans Charles and Elvira, and explores themes of respectability politics, spiritual subculture, and LGBTQ relationship dynamics.
