Bill’s Rice, a restaurant that serves only white rice, runs out of rice. When the opportunity arises to sell the building and close the business altogether, the owners are forced to confront their dreams and relationships. Little do they know, a reanimated pet ferret is seeking revenge — and he’s roped in their neglected daughter.
Featuring a cast of passionate, gross, jazzy, chain-smoking characters, The Last Grain of Rice is a satirical, absurd comedy that explores family, legacy, and letting go.
